STS as a Critical Pedogogy Workshop

This PECE essay contains artifacts and essays related to the "STS as a Critical Pedagogy Workshop," an NSF-funded workshop organized by Shannon N. Conley and Emily York. The workshop was held virtually due to Covid-19, and occurred over four separate virtual sessions, on June 16, June 23, July 7, and July 14, or 2021.

As an experiment in imagining a workshop as a 'collaborative formation' rather than just an event, participants were invited to begin interacting with each other in this space in the months leading up to the workshop itself. Subsequently, participants were invited to share artifacts and workshop materials on the platform in connection with the development of a collective manuscript.
