Kim Fortun is a Professor in the University of California, Irvine's Department of Anthropology. Her research and teaching are concerned with environmental disaster and risk; experimental research and design; and the ethnographic genre. Although her monograph focused on India, she is interested in multi-sited and collaborative ethnographic work that bridges diverse voices and locations.
