Joseph Satish: The Environmental Injustice course offers an excellent framework for use in teaching students across geographies. This pedagogical approach can be adapted to students from any background, not necessarily in the sciences. It would be interesting to see how this approach could be used as a form of engagement with other stakeholder groups, especially those in government services. The choice of case studies would also matter in the case of such stakeholders as the very idea of an environmental disaster may be disputed. For instance, the Green Revolution in India often stirs heated debate among its proponents and opponents. So this approach may need to be adapted for different stakeholder groups.
