Critical Commentary

The Accelerating Creative Teaching (ACT) grants at James Madison University are small grants that support an array of different pedagogical innovations. In the Fall of 2018, Conley and York received an ACT grant to pilot a design fiction study in their introductory STS course. This helped to solidify some of the pedagogical approaches that became central to the STS Futures Lab.

In this follow-up Pressbook publication, the goals and outcomes of this ACT grant are described.
