[NYCUUVAGC] UVA student answers to early poll on Cech Passion's and Values

Critical Commentary

Within the first two weeks of the spring 2022 semester at UVA I had them read the introductory chapter of Erin Cech's "Trouble with Passion". During synchronous and asynchronous class time I encouraged them to consider what they value and the origin of what they feel are their values and expectations for a meaningful life. A questionnaire was presented to them. One question was built up from my own experience as a teacher and a second was open ended. You can see the diversity of identity, value, and influence claims made in the table.
