Kathleen Sheppard Bio

KS: Kathleen Sheppard is Associate Professor in the history and political science department at Missouri S&T. Her main field of study is history of science, focusing on the history of Egyptology in Britain and the US. She is interested in the social studies of science, sociability, and spaces of knowledge creation. In her teaching, she works to engage engineering students in the study of history, so using STS pedagogy tools is critical to her work.
