Critical Commentary

We stood against the strongest walls in her house. Earthquakes make noise. You can hear it here. It was too risky to drive home. Then it was too much of a risk to sleep there. It was too risky to use cell phones in the street. Gas was leaking invisibly into the air. The risks defining my field work had multiplied.
