Critical Commentary

This paper analyzes, using the conceptual tools of queer feminisms, STS, and the Sociology of Affectivity, how vulnerability is experienced in serodiscordance (or difference in serological status) in homo and hetero-erotic-affective bonds in Mexico City, based on gender and social class. In this text I emphazise the sociocultural complexities of the subjects' relationship with the biomedicalization of HIV / AIDS and sexuality, through their corporeal-affective impact.
