4S 2021 6S PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP

The Student Section of the Social Studies of Science (6S) hosts an annual workshop prior to the 4S annual meeting. Building on the experience of the inaugural virtual graduate student workshop held last year, in 2021, we will again facilitate workshop participants situated around the world to have ongoing, asynchronous discussions about their projects, research interests, and STS more broadly. This online space runs on open-source, non-commercial infrastructure that has been designed and managed by STS scholars (Platform for Experimental, Collaborative Ethnography).
