Sheliza Ibrahim Khan is a Professor, with the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on higher education and the design of socially just teaching practices in the field of Mathematics, Science and STEM. Her research projects span across local and international contexts, such as, Canada, Jamaica and St. Vincent & the Grenadines. She currently teaches, Numeracy, Critical Thinking for STEM, and The Science of Learning at the undergraduate level with the Institute for Studies in University Pedagogy. Prior she taught and researched in the Faculty of Education with a focus on Mathematics leadership in teaching, and Science, Technology, Society & Environment (STSE) Education.
