Professor at the University of Strasbourg since 2013, Romuald Nomand have developed his scientific activities within the European network of sociologists of education (European Association for Educational Research), which he created in 2008 with a few colleagues at the University of Oxford. He is co-convenor of the network at the European Conference of Educational Research, and at different summer schools organised by the network in Naples and Strasbourg, and more recently in Lisbon. He also member of the editorial boards of the British Journal of Sociology of Education, the French-language journal Education & Sociétés, and the Brazilian journal Eduçacao & Sociedade. After being co-editor of Routledge series 'Interdisciplinary Studies in European Education' until 2019, he has joined the editorial board of Springer series 'Governance of European Education'.
