Radhika Krishnan is an Assistant Professor with the Research Group for the Human Sciences, IIIT Hyderabad. Her research interests lie in studying the interface between technological regimes, communities and local ecologies. She has been a post-doctoral fellow at the Centre at Concurrences in Colonial and Post-Colonial Studies at Linnaeus University in Sweden. She was also a Fellow at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) in Shimla. She has worked for several years with the Delhi-based research and advocacy group Centre for Science and Environment. I am currently working on a book on the trade unionist Shankar Guha Niyogi. This book looks at alternative ecological and technological imaginations emerging from the mines and factory floor in Chhattisgarh.
