Prateeksha Tiwari is presently a doctoral candidate at the Department of Education at the University of Vienna. Her doctoral research is focused on comparative study of positioning edtech in rural education for national development in India and China. She has previously studied MA (Department of East Asian Studies) and MPhil (Centre for East Asian Studies) in China Studies and has taught Chinese language at University of Delhi for five years. Her previous research background is in educational technologies in public schools in rural India. Her research interests include edtech for emancipatory education in Global South, philosophy of edtech, and decolonial edtech.
