I am a late-stage PhD candidate living in a late-stage capitalistic society who works at the intersection of art and STS (ASTS, also known as art-science). I explore the destabilizing dialectics of destruction/creation, death/life, and violence/peace in the Earthly epoch known as the Anthropocene, or the Age of (purportedly) "Enlightened" "Man." I am a fervently transdisciplinary activist-scholar, having come to STS from environmental studies and the environmental justice movement. My methods are eclectic and mixed: I use whatever methods are most compelling given the question at hand. I specialize in participatory action research (PAR), performance ethnography, theater, and dance. I'm currently combining creative somatics with creative writing as an art-science mode of inquiry into multi-sensory and multi-species worlds.
