I am currently undertaking research for a PhD at Deakin University on the Partnership Agreement on Closing the Gap and the new National Agreement on Closing the Gap. I am particularly interested in understanding how policy making processes have changed under the new Agreements, and what effect this is having on education policy. I am also a teacher and Program Leader at Carey Baptist Grammar School with responsibility for research and development of experiential learning programs and sustainable practice, and an education consultant for the International Baccalaureate Organisation. I have extensive experience in teaching, educational leadership, curriculum development and assessment in science education at both secondary and tertiary level, postgraduate qualifications in international education and a PhD in Marine Ecology from the University of Melbourne.
