Gonçalo D. Santos (江紹龍) is an Assistant Professor of Social-Cultural Anthropology in the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Coimbra. He is also a Senior Researcher at CIAS—Research Centre for Anthropology and Health, University of Coimbra, where he coordinates the Research Cluster "Technoscience, Society, and Environment". He held previous positions at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology, and University of Hong Kong. His research interests and publications straddle the fields of social-cultural anthropology, Asian studies, and social studies of science and technology. He is co-founder of the transnational research network, Sci-Tech Asia.
