Elen Nas holds a Doctor degree in Bioethics, Applied Ethics, and Public Health from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (an interinstitutional program in partnership with Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, Federal Fluminense University, and the University of Rio de Janeiro State). Part of her Ph.D. was developed at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and the University of California-Irvine. She holds a Master in Design from Pontifical Catholic University at Rio de Janeiro and a Bachelor in Social Science, with a complimentary degree in Didactics. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Advanced Studies Institute from the Arts and Communication School at the University of Sao Paulo (USP). She's a member of BraiNNIAC, an interdisciplinary research network dedicated to scientific research, teaching, and extension activities in Nanotechnology, Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence, and Cognition hosted by the Federal University of Vicosa.
