I am currently a PhD Candidate in Geography at Memorial University in St. John’s Newfoundland, where I also completed my MA in 2017. I am a settler scholar from Treaty 4 Territory and grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan. I now live in Whitehorse, Yukon and work for and with the Ross River Dena Council on mine remediation research. My research interests include reclamation of contaminated landscapes, environmental justice, impact assessment and community engagement in (and resistance to) resource extraction across Northern Canada.
