I am a PhD student in social anthropology at the University of Manchester researching ethnographically the relations between mortgages as market devices and practices and meanings of time, value, and class formation in Bucharest, Romania. In 2019, I received a PhD in sociology at the University of Bucharest with a thesis that has examined the temporal tactics of legitimisation of complementary/alternative medicine. My research interests are in time and temporal affects, market devices, values and valuation, qualitative and ethnographic methods.
