ESTS Art Design 2015 - 2024

Description

In 2020, the new editorial collective rebranded the ESTS website. For continuity, the managing director reached out to the existing artist Angie Renfro (http://www.angierenfro.com/landscapes/) who had provided the artwork for the website since 2015. Moving from the initial landscape painting of pylons and buildings in greens and browns entitled “I think of you now and then,” the EC chose another of the artist’s work in pinks and greens entitled “where we wind up.”From 2022 onwards the design moved from realism to abstraction. The colour palette and level of abstraction was updated in different colour schemes annually in 2022 (shades of pink) and 2023 (blue, yellow, and orange), evolving from a watercolour landscape of the sea, sky and land by Amanda Windle which also took the inspiration from the conference theme for 4S in Honolulu, 2023.
