[my answer]
Taiwan's No. 4 nuclear power plant and the storage of nuclear waste in Lanyu island ... have caused many controversies, leading some citizens to want to stop using the No. 4 nuclear power plant and abolish nuclear power generation. Therefore, Taiwan's recent nuclear energy policy is to gradually reduce the use of nuclear energy and then gradually abolish nuclear energy.
Compared with nuclear energy, the renewable energy promoted by the governments of various countries is more suitable for long-term use, has a low degree of environmental pollution, and will not have the problem of nuclear waste accumulation.
Furthermore, after the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan, I think that there are nuclear power plants, and the same problems may occur at any time due to war or failure of nuclear power plants.
Therefore, I think reducing the dependence on nuclear energy and increasing the use of renewable energy is the most suitable choice for Taiwan.
