tired engineer

[my answer]

My answer will be company, family, community, nation, human being, all living beings, individual.

In my opinion, engineers aren’t powerful enough to change the world. In the industrial type of Taiwan, most people who work in technology industries are too tired to think about something else, such as enhancing our nation, or bringing better life to all human beings, since their lives are just filled with work and those data.

The first thing they must finish is the instructions from their boss, and in their leisure time, they spend time with their families.

And then it finally comes to things that aren’t so important to them, such as community, nation, human beings, all living beings, and himself.

Dumb collapse which made the lady cry

[my partner’s answer]

Human beings – Company – community – family – Individuals.

Ultimate responsibility lies on Nation.

For example: if engineers fail their part, the community will face disaster (Dumb collapse in Uzbekistan)

engineers can change the world

[my reflection]

After the discussion with my partner and the class, I realized that there are more things that engineers can do, and engineers are not as powerless as I think.

Things I focus on change; however, my answer will remain the same: company, family, community, nation, human being, all living beings, individual. But we can explain the order in a different way this time.

First, engineers finish their work, and then spend time with their families. Second,

What they are working on is good for the community and the nation, so I put them after company and family. For example, the thriving of TSMC is not only beneficial to itself, but also enhances the economy of Taiwan.

Next, I found that things done by those engineers can change the world, even if it changes slowly. As time passes, the lives of human beings will change. Last, in my opinion, all living beings and individuals are not quite important to engineers, so I put them at last.
