Critical Commentary
Angela Okune: iHub Research was not only responsible for conducting original field research but also was also the lead "archivist" for the overall iHub and its broader community and collected statistics on things happening by iHub and its affiliated community members.
Before the iHub UX Lab was started (in 2013), iHub Research was the home for the iHub design and media team. We worked with designers such as Patrick Munyi and Joshua Musau to develop infographics that visually documented some of the relevant quantitative stats. These infographics were heavily circulated and used by many in the tech scene to help make the case about African tech.
