Critical Commentary

Waste of a Nation presents an overview of issues related to waste in India. It draws on the obvious, yet rarely acknowledged heaps of garbage in India and goes on to discuss pertinent issues related to caste and waste disposal, minorities and recycling, segregation of waste, technology, etc. in waste management. In this insightful book, the authors draw on examples from across the country and also discuss different kinds of challenges that the growth of the country will present with regards to waste disposal.
