Conversation with the founder, Julio, of NovaCana. NovaCana a site dedicated to the sucroenergético (sugar-energy) sector, but it actually started around biodiesel. Talking to Julio, I learned that his father opened a small biodiesel plant a couple decades ago and so Julio started this website to share information about biodiesel with other producers. Then the government started supporting biodiesel and the site exploded.
