We used this sign to advertise for the Academic Showcase, a final "STS Party" in which students facilitate conversations about their research with other students, faculty, and staff. We were so moved by the guests who showed up to this event. Colleagues such as the Associate Dean of Engineering, faculty with the Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and faculty from Introduction to Engineering Design. We loved that our students held the attention of their classmates and our colleagues. We didn't get as much time as we would have liked to de-brief with our students about the experience, but during our table observations we documented ways that they had indeed become STS Thinkers.
