Reentry Services

  • Academics

    • An introduction to the university 

    • Admissions processing advocacy for students with parole or probation difficulties

    • Financial aid application (FAFSA) assistance if needed (ie educational grants, scholarships, federal loans

    • Limited traveling assistance if needed

    • Professional psychological counseling 

  • Workshops/tutoring

    • Educational workshops in local jails 

    • Mentoring for Rebound Students

Eligibility

  • Must be formerly incarcerated: off or on parole or probation 

  • Must be living or paroling to the S.F. Bay Area 

  • Be motivated to succeed and benefit from a college education 

  • Maintain satisfactory progress by taking and completing 12 or at least 6 units each semester

  • HS Transcripts/GED (freshmen) 56-60 units of credit (transfer students) 

  • College transcripts (transfer students) ACT or SAT scores (freshmen)

  • Admission application (cal state apply)

  • Financial aid application
