Critical Commentary

•As a student in Taiwan, I can tell you that our country's nuclear energy policy is focused on phasing out nuclear power by 2025. We are hoping to increase our reliance on renewable energy sources, such as wind power, in order to reduce our carbon footprint and protect the environment. However, I personally think that some sustainable energy options, such as solar and wind power, may not be practical for Taiwan due to our high demand for electricity from high tech companies. In my opinion, nuclear energy is a good choice for meeting our energy needs because it provides a stable source of power.
