[KHURRAM] Q3-Do you think engineers should participate in military related R&D?

I think engineers should not participate in military-relevant R&D. According to me, a military mindset relates to conflicts, terrorism, and wars. The military thinks that might is right which is not always practical in real life. Therefore, if engineering doesn’t participate they will have flexibility in their minds. If they participate their mind will stick to fight and stickiness. I have observed in my country people who work in military-relevant R&D, become unadjustable among common people. They look abnormal.

I think it would be interesting for engineers to participate in military R&D but that depends if their goals are aligned with the military as well. It will benefit engineers in a sense that they would gain more knowledge and experience but cannot necessarily apply as they are subjected to confidentially
