FLACSO Ecuador convenes the 1st Summer School of Science, Technology and Society in Quito, Ecuador from July 1 to 5, 2019.
This is the first time that academics, professionals, and decision makers have been brought together to deepen knowledge and develop skills to face the challenges of innovation in the country.
The STS Summer School is an interdisciplinary space to explore trends in innovation that go beyond the traditional models currently used. From a critical to technological determinism perspective topics that will be discussed will include, the opportunities offered by emerging technologies, co-creation spaces, and design innovation projects and policies.
