Exploring The Layers: The Process of Future STEM Teachers Becoming Anti-Racist Educators

This is Socorro Cambero's PECE essay focused on her dissertation work. Two main questions guide her inquiry: (1) How do spaces focused on facilitating reflection on anti-racism develop the perspectives and practices of future  STEM teachers? How do they plan on employing anti-racist practices in their own classroom? (2) How does teaching context promote or limit teachers’ ability to apply anti-racist practices in their classrooms?
