EASST and S&TS

Text

....At the heart of these changes lies our new affiliation as the official journal of European Association for the Study of Science and Technology, EASST. The association has witnessed the steady growth of our field and wishes to promote another strong international journal in the area that could be delivered also as a membership benefit. Science Studies presented an opportunity in both these aspects. For the journal, the affiliation as the official journal of EASST is expected raise its profile, readership and in the amount and quality of articles submitted. To accommodate this, we shall increase the number of issues to three in 2013 and target four issues per year in the near future.”

A few changes also occurred in editorial policy:

The stronger European focus of the journal is also reflected in the gradual transformation in our editorial team and editorial board. We are glad to welcome Professors Miquel Domenech, Frank Mali, Fred Stewart, Dominique Vinck, Robin Williams and Teun Zuiderent-Jerak on our editorial board, and Profs. Jörg Niewöhner and Estrid Sørensen on our editing team.”
