This book is a critical work upon the life, political economy and gendered labour of the indian call centre workers and its makers. in totality , this different industrial and corporate ethnography deals the flexible economy constituted by call centre jobs and other Information technology enabled services. apart from the usual blame game and furious criticms, the author tries to explore how this neoliberal service economy based on flexibility changed the (abstract) indian middle class approach towards job and labour and also how they recieved the 'exported' lifestyle along with offshoring from europe and North america.
