Biobanks interrupted: the ethnographic reconfiguration of biobank images

I study biobanks. I’m interested in studying the scientific practices that have led to the establishment of the most important biobanks in Mexico. I analyze how medical doctors and researchers dispute the obtaining of samples, and whether they will be kept in the institution's biobank or in private collections. One of the biobanks that I study is the Tumor Bank of the National Institute of Cancerology (INCan), located in a busy area in southern Mexico City known as the "Hospital Zone".
