Critical Commentary

Knorr Cetina's work a referent point for questioning and theoretical framing.

Kim Fortun's work is makes for core methodological orientation.

Shiv Vishvanathan's texts, especially this one are primary sources for orienting concern. By this I mean both Knorr Cetina and Fortun construct the state or bureaucratic entities and procedures from their interactions on the filed. Vishvanathan writing in border strokes, points at the simultaneous co-creation of state and science.

This birds eye view compliments the grounded methodological view points of the first two.
